Every week we hear powerful words from māmā who attend our Peer Support groups. These spaces are more than just a meeting - they're lifelines. They're where stories are shared, tears are welcomed, and strength is rebuilt.

Hearing how these groups have made a real difference in women's lives fills our hearts. It reminds us why we do what we do - and why your support matters so deeply.

These real stories from māmā, help other māmā feel less alone.

A Time of Her Own: Celebrating Art, Connection, and the Power of Community

On Saturday 14 June, something truly special happened. Women from across our community gathered at the Weta Workshop Room in The Franklin Arts Centre, Pukekohe, for A Time of Her Own—a creative fundraiser in support of Well Women Trust’s $100K in 100 Days campaign.

Facilitated with warmth and intention by Sarah, the afternoon offered more than just art—it was a chance to pause, connect, and honour the strength of wāhine in all seasons of motherhood.

A silent auction showcasing exquisitely crafted, bespoke works of art added another layer of magic to the event. Each piece told a story. Each bid carried hope. And together, these generous contributions brought us one step closer to ensuring free mental health support remains accessible to every mother who needs it.

To everyone who showed up, donated, bid, created, and cheered us on—thank you. You are the heartbeat behind our mission, and your support is making a real difference.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Share the kaupapa. Invite your networks to be part of the movement. Because when women rise, communities thrive.

Check out what we have been up to this week!!
